I don't know why you'd want to have 2 3DS systems, but if I were to buy a 3DS any time now, it would be the new 3DS XL. There isn't that much difference between the two if you're not a fan of 3D, but there are supposed to be new games that are exclusive to the New 3DS systems, and with one, you wouldn't be missing any of these titles. lol we already have the time traveling function on all 3dses and we also have the super stable ultra hyper 3d on new or old new 3dses.

I vote for a used 2DS, it feels more durable to me, and is quickly becoming my favorite of the family, but the New 3DS- as soon as I get protectors for it, may just pass it as my favorite when I begin playing that one everyday.
