Seasons?

So... I live in Australia, so my seasons are almost the exact opposite of the ACNL ones. Is there any way to change the seasons without changing the date?

It kinda sucks, yeah? But at least we can have a white Christmas hypothetically as we laugh and play ACNL in the 30 degree heat.

I always wondered about this! They should change it for the Australian region copies of the game.. It doesn't seem like that would be too hard. still probably more work than they want to deal with though

Or are the Australian and European copies considered the same region..? Don't remember .-.
^ if yes then that would explain why they don't change the seasons around for Australia (along with it being additional work)

But as far as I know there is no way to change it. Sorry :/
