Kinda noobish question, but I'm still confused when it comes to data transfer. So I think I'm gonna go digital again and buy Pokemon X or Y on the eShop. But I only have the 4GB one that came with my 3DS XL. Now once I do that I'll only have about... 6,000 blocks left. And I still need to download Ace Attorney when it comes out. So I need to upgrade later to an SD Card with more memory.

SO. How would I do that? How would I transfer everything from my current 4GB SD Card to a larger one later on? Will my 3DS still recognize the data on a different SD Card? Can someone explain exactly how it works please?

I also posted this in the Pokemon General Thread but I'll repost it here in case someone else is wondering how it works too:
It's easy thankfully. You just drag everything from the old SD card to your desktop, and then drag the stuff on the desktop to the new SD card. More detail here: http://en-americas-support.nintendo....a_id/309/p/430

When you say
Will my 3DS still recognize the data on a different SD card?
do you mean will the save data still work on the old SD card? I have no idea what exactly happens if you try, but Nintendo specifically says to not use the save data on the old SD card after transferring, so I wouldn't do it.

If you mean will your 3DS have any issues recognizing the data on the new SD card, then it won't.

Ah, ok. Thanks again!

Will my eShop account and Netflix account transfer over too?

Any part of those that gets saved to the SD card should transfer over as well. So any extra data for the eShop and Netflix, if you had to use up blocks on the SD card to download Netflix, stuff like that.
