I am in the Science Fair this year and I want a winning project. Any ideas? Here are the rules:

-There must be a control (something that stays the same) and a variable (something that changes)
-It cannot be a research project or model proect. If it is, it will result in immediate disqualification.
-There must be a measurement used (time, inches, etc.)
-The idea must be testable.

All I need are ideas that are capable of winning. Any help whatsoever is appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

Do the chocolate lava volcano.

I would have an excellent project for you but you can't do a research project soooooo.

Science Fair, eh? I remember that. I got an Outstanding Ribbon on my project and a 100% grade. It was called "Who's Smarter? [insert your name here] or [insert local news channel weatherman's name here]?" What I did was for the next 3 weeks, I would predict what the weather would be each day, and I would record both the professional weatherman's and my predictions. Whoever was closer to the prediction would get a point. The chart was made on a huge poster board listing each day, date, temperature prediction, actual temperature, weather prediction, actual weather, etc. I listed a lot of factors that meteorologists predict for their forecasts. In the end, whoever had the most points won. Trust me, if you manage to successfully complete that poster board chart in an efficient and organized manner, your Science teacher will adore you. My teacher did. If you have any more questions, or just want pictures of my project, PM me.

^^ Sounds like a good idea! I'll keep that in mind.

Yeah... I wanted to do a volcano but I'd get an F because its research and model...

I was thinking of doing something like What Substance/Object Molds Faster but I dont know... Last year I did something where I watered plants with liquids other than water and I got 3rd place....

That was what I originally wanted to do as my project to be honest, but I remember my mom telling me it was a little overused and your teacher might mark you off for lack of originality. I'm just saying that, but by all means do what you want. After all, it's you project.
