I had a pet turtle that I found in my swimming pool filter once. His name was Donut, but eventually he got too big for our tank and we had to let him go.

His head is about 1cm wide! He's so tiny!

Oh my lord, I love cornsnakes so much, I've always wanted one but I had a friend who lost like three of them because they always got out of their enclosures, she only ever found one of them because it curled up at the bottom of her laundry hamper and died. >.< I've always loved how dainty and small they were. Truly little moving sticks.

Pulling this thread from the trenches because I am planning on getting a ball python soon and I just can't wait! I need some scaly babies to tie me over!

*huffs* After years and year of wanting one, I am actually doing it this time, found everything I need for him and I am going to be getting myself a cute little snoodle of my very own within the next few months. (weather permitting) I am finally making a little more money so now I can actually do it and afford to take care of a snake and I am getting one finalllllly. And I would love to meet more owners of snake babies on here because it would be nice to have people to talk about husbandry with and stuff... <3

I've had several reptiles and amphibians as pets. In middle school I had an oriental fire-bellied toad, as well as two iguanas. My ultimate dream was to own a snake, but my mom was deathly afraid of them, so that was out of the question.
However, now that I'm on my own...it's still a dream because my finances are so tight.

He's gunna be named Bowie. =] I am so in love with him even though I've never met him yet. XD The breeder said he's already pretty comfortable with handling so I am excited about that.

Do it! I am buying mine mostly with my tax return, my mom didn't approve of my getting a snake but I am doing it anyways because I pay rent for my room and she did the same thing all the time as a kid, she just had the support of my grandpa because he would bring home animals all the time being the head of fish and game. And on top of that I know my mom's boyfriend would approve so I am going to use him to butter her up a bit too. XD But usually me or my sister bringing home an animal goes like this:
Me:"Look!" *holding up animal*
Mom: "What the frick? What is that? That's not living here right? Why didn't you ask me?" *is very mad*
Me:*bringing animal closer*
Mom:*touches animal* "Well ok, but I am still mad..."
Then she is usually over it in a week or so.

If I wasn't going to be able to get a Lucy I was going to get a Pied because they are so pretty! I love the contrast of the normal and white it's so nice! Especially the smiley one!

Mhm.
I'm deathly afraid of bigger snakes and lizards/geckos of all kind, but one day I'd like to get a smaller snake. They seem nice.
