my friend told me that he thinks that a guy is feminine when they say words like 'cute' and 'adorable'. what is your viewpoint on this?

I love cute and adorable things!

far better than the generally boring stuff that's considered cool and manly

only guys who are insecure about their masculinity would be in that frame of mind. obviously guys can find things cute and adorable, and if they dont say it so they dont appear feminine then clearly somethings not right. words arent assigned to different genders in the english language

i guess it depends how theyre using it. most dudes wouldnt call clothing theyre looking at for themselves "cute" or "adorable" for instance. "I found the cutest pair of steel-toed boots for work"

the problem with this is the fact that most male clothing isnt designed to be cute. most females probably wouldnt call male clothing cute in their shoes either

I don't see why anyone would really care. There's far more important things to worry about in life than whether or not your vocabulary makes you feminine at all.

guys can only talk about trucks and wrestling and girls can only talk about flowers and perfume; they're the rules of life!!!

kidding; but being real that person sounds like trash.... say whatever u want to say omg

Femine looks like "feline". Now, it's true that I have a friend IRL (who's a guy) who used to act like a cat!
But yeah, guys always call girls cute.

the whole gender stereotype thing is a real pain;
i don't think your choice of vernacular makes you any less or more feminine than someone else.
nor do i think enjoying colors or bands or anything in general will make you more or less feminine than the rest.

girls think blue is cute.
boys think blue is cute.
nonbinary people think blue is cute.

girls think pink is cute.
boys think pink is cute.
nonbinary people think pink is cute.

doesn't make them feminine, hell i'm an almost 22 year old male who thinks soft pink is an adorable color and blasts it in every signature on any forum site i inhabit.
