What are your methods of saving money? I feel in the begining i had a hard time when it came to buying stuff and then putting money into the atm

for me, i pretty much just bought whatever i saw in the store that i wanted, then saved the rest until i had enough to pay back my current loan to Nook. when i go island hunting, i go several times and put all the bells from that in my atm. i normally saved days' worth up

I always go to the island after 5pm and go bug hunting and catch bigger fish. The bugs especially give you a lot of money when you take them back and sell them to retail. You can easily make 300,000 bells a trip!

In the beginning, when I was still paying off loans and PWPs, it was hard to save anything. But if by some chance at the end of the day I didn't have anything to pay off, I'd put whatever money I earned that day in the ABD. It does build up over time. At the end of each month, I would postpone paying something off if necessary so I could keep my bells in the ABD to earn interest.

Once my expenses started slowing down, it became much easier to save. Going to the island at night to catch beetles and sharks really helps. Then, I put all of that profit in savings. I'm at a point now where I can buy anything I want from the shops with just the money I earn doing daily maintenance on my town and villager requests. I sell the extra flowers, bamboo shoots, and gifts that the villagers give me after making my rounds. Then, I check all the shops, buy anything I want and put the leftover in savings.

During the beginning of the game I just didn't buy much honestly. But when I started out I was like 12 and had no sense of economics. I didn't see the benefits of saving up either which is why I straight up didn't bother with it at first.

When I first started, I utilized the island to beetle farm to make okay-ish money.

But, mainly to be honest I just posted a lot and sold tbt for igb and I utilized my towns to do turnip selling which profit was high. Once houses and pwps were paid off there wasn't really much to throw igb's at so it just sits in the bank and collects interest.

When I first started playing, I shake all my trees, do the money rock, and sell the daily gem. That was enough for my daily spending money. At night, I would go to the island and collect bugs. Two inventory's worth should be enough for a PWP or a house loan.

Everything I don't spend goes into my savings.

I remember when I first started playing and had no idea of the Island trick, I would usually sell everything villagers gave me that I did not want. I also fished and caught bugs, and sold fossils that I already had.

i don’t even save money bc i have too much to even know what to do with. use this forum to make a lot.
there was a player here who posted that Reese was buying turnips for >800 bells and i just time traveled to sunday and bought a crap ton of turnips to sell at her town and made millions, i think about 15 million. and then someone bought like....1,000 TBT bells i accumulated from the forum and gave me like 20-30 million in game bells for it so yea. accumulate so much that u don’t even gotta worry about savings lol.
