I had an all bear/cub town at one point. Deleted it because I lost motivation to do anything with it. Especially since there's no snooty bears, it irked me not having the personalities balanced. It looked pretty cute, though. Too bad it didn't work out. I liked seeing them all interact together.
My towns Vista and Chocolat has squirrel and bunny villagers in them, not sure if this counts. My other towns has them too, but these towns has the most.
I was going to do all wolves, but Lucky is my favorite and I needed an uchi (Cherry). The roster should end up with: Vivian, Wolfgang, Dobie, Whitney, Lobo, Skye, Kyle, Cherry, Lucky, Maddie.
I have an all-bunny town, and it's a memorial town for my rabbit who passed away. I'm really glad Nintendo has at least one of every personality type for the rabbits because that's important for my towns.
My sis has an all sheep village country themed town and it's the cutest thing ever. If I could settle on one species I would definitively do the same !
i was originally planning making a village entirely of birds (ostriches, birds, ducks, eagles), but then when i started my new town, diana and pekoe were residents, so i had to put the whole kibbosh on that.
I think it is a cute little idea, especially if you are doing a themed town, but I'd think it would get pretty boring after a while with seeing the same villager species over and over again >~< I prefer to have a variety of different species in my town, and I try not to have any duplicates (I made an exception for Mint and Marshal both being squirrels as I love both of them too much and the squirrel villagers are just too cute anyway) Also, for some species it would be impossible for you to get one of each personality which would just be such a pain. You would miss out on some fun dialogue between the villagers and you wouldn't able to get to know all the personality types of they weren't all available, not to mention it may make getting certain PWPs quite difficult! Overall it isn't a thing that I would do in my town, but I'm sure at first it would be very fun! (And I suppose if it gets boring after a while then you can always just change up the villager selection, no one is saying you have to keep all the same ones forever lol!) Maybe I would try it out and find I like it, but I think that's quite unlikely. Oh there are so many things that I could do with an extra game! I would try this out, or I would do the yearly challenge thing... Oh well!
Yeah,a single species town is not for everybody but I've had fun with it.I haven't found it to be boring but I think it could be if it's your only town.I chose pigs because I like 'em and all the personality types are represented.
No I've never had an only one animal village and simply because I feel it would be really boring and I don't think there is a single species that I like 10 villagers in enough to have them in my town.
I have 8 deer in my town and I do say it gets kind of boring after awhile so i might switch some out soon. I do have 2 other species in my town though so that keeps me happy.
