Saharah, that is just not right!

Saharah was in my town, so I paid my 3000 bells and got T&T wallpaper and flooring (and I already had both of them). Fine. I got on as one of my secondary characters and he got the exact same wall/floor combination!! I was not happy. I have 3 characters and usually get at least one Saharah item between the 3 of them, but not this time. Sigh...

Anybody else ever had this happen?

Used to happen to me all the time lol, I rarely buy from her now as I've completed my catalogue. Yesterday I decided to buy from her again though as I wasn't doing much in game, and was completely surprised to get two of her exclusives, an office floor and desert wall .

I have tons of spares around btw if you need anything specific, let me know what you're looking for and I'll go through my museum storage .

I've always used all 4 of my characters to buy from Saharah and the result is always different. Sometimes I get 4 Saharah items - I consider those visits very lucky, but most of the time I just get 2 Saharah items.

Sounds more like a coincidence to me. Given, I rarely talk to Saharah, so that may also be why.

Whenever she visits, I make sure my characters are wearing a lucky hat such the celebration hat or the tingle hood, just in case either of them can have good item luck.

Though yeah, sometimes Saharah won't give you a rare wallpaper/floor. It doesn't bother me much.

It's not that she didn't give me rare items. She gave me the exact same wall/floor for 2 houses in a row, within minutes of each other. Stone wall and classic carpet.

I did this a lot too. When I get the wrong carpet and wallpaper, I reset, ESPECIALLY the common wall and common floor. Why would Saharah give you a common wall or common floor if it's the first wallpaper and carpet you obtain since it's in your house already? I don't think Saharah should give you the common wall or common floor. In fact, I don't think she should give you non-exclusives at all. And the Nooklings should not sell the common wall or common floor since they're automatically cataloged at the beginning.

I liked how we got Saharah exclusives from the Gamecube version more than this game.

I think you should get at least one exclusive every time; I get so annoyed when I don't get one. I'm pretty sick of Sahara/too lazy so I mostly don't use her services anymore, even though I probably still need to collect more rares from her.

I just save before I invite her in and then reset if she doesn't give me any exclusives. It also has something to do with luck. There are days where you'll get more chances to get Saharah exclusives.

I hated the luck system in this game. It's very unfair.

I feel you. This is why I don't talk to Saharah anymore, even though I still need to get all the wallpapers needed from her for my catalog. Even with resetting, its just so annoying...
