Safest way to tt to cycle out a villager?

What is the safest way to cycle out a villager without losing your dreamies? If I go day by day, is that the safest way? Although I realize it would be really slow.

day by day is always the safest way imo.
it is really slow, but that's the only way that you could really be sure that no one is moving.

yes the safest way is day by day and talking to at least one of your villager til they tell you to go away to see if there is a villager moving.

I follow this guide. It's excellent and has never failed me.

Find the moving villager then move forward three days (that mostly when another will start asking to move), you can go day by day if you are afraid to lose someone after that.
