Sadly, I’m getting sick of Audie, but...

Don’t get me wrong, I love Audie, but I just want someone new in her place. It’s gettting repetitive seeing her all the time, and I’d rather have another peppy like Ruby or Bunnie. But at the same time, I’d really miss her if she were gone, AND she’s a really valuable villager. So then there’s the whole thing about feeling guilty if I don’t gift her to someone who wants her. And then there will be the trouble of choosing one person who will get her and leaving all the other candidates sad.

My Audie isn’t original either, she has the starter peppy interior, and I’ve given her loads of ugly furniture and clothing. It’s tacky to me, and I’m not sure if the person I’m gifting her to would like it either.

Do you think I should say yes to Audie moving the next time she asks? I’m seriously starting to consider it. But she will always have a special place in my heart as my first New Horizons villager best friend.

I would say let her go. If you end up not liking your decision, you can always get her back down the line!

Her house should reset when she moves if it's a starter house. I'm not sure what will happen with all the gifted clothing though. Some people don't care about that though! Also Ruby is on my island and her house is space themed & I find it super interesting.

You could always just give her away. The starter villagers seem to regain their unique house interiors when they move anyway. My starter girl Diva skipped to my spouse’s island and now she has her fabulous Egyptophile house back (along with a nail art set I gave her, but still.)

Also, IMO, someone who really loves Audie is just going to be happy to have her, perfect house interior or no.

If you really don't want her in your town then it's prob best to just let her move out. Like the person above said you can always get her back at a later date, especially since over time the villager trading market should chill out a bit w all these new villagers.

agreed with the folks above. if you ever want audie back, once amiibos drop for the new villagers they'll be much easier to get and i'm sure folks will be cycling them here at much more affordable rates.

Yeah,sometimes you need a change and there's a lot of other good peppy villagers out there.One good thing about letting a popular villager move is that you know that someone is going to adopt them and they won't have to go to the void.
