RV campers aren't random?

I need someone to confirm this for me. I've time travelled forward and backwards and the villagers in RVs don't seem to be completely random. Every time I went back the same villager would be in RVs while the items Harvey was selling swapped out. I feel like it's kind of like the same system as the island tours where everyone in the same region at the right date gets the same tours.

I currently have the european / australian and I have pascal in his rv.

I started on the 5th and TTed all the way to the 20th and then back to the 5th and both times, Blanca was in the RV. So you may be right.

Do you mean like everyone in the same region has the same NPCs as campers on a specific day? Because I'm sure that's not the case, as my boyfriend has different campers than me.

Same here, 4 copies all in the same region on the same time and day and they all have different campers.

Maybe it is set randomly per copy of the game?

And maybe it cycles them in order so you have to wait however many days before an NPC comes back?
