Running up Stairs- One step at a time? Two?

If it's outside.. then I can't run on them. period. I'm deathly afraid of heights.

Indoor steps, however, are a whole 'nother story; as long as they aren't the ones by a fire escape or something, I'm fine running up them up to two stairs at a time.

Depending on how big the steps are I can jump up around 4 to 6. As for going down them, I can often jump down small staircases or if there is small drops I'll go that way instead.

I only go up multiple steps at a time if the steps are shallow or if I'm in a rush.

It's just there practice nothing else, they are used to running on these stairs that's why they know where to place the foot for covering two steps at the same time.

I always run up the stairs even if I'm not in a rush and I usually skip a step.

Wow. This is like, life's most important question  I have a bad habit of tripping while going up stairs a lot, so one at a time unless I'm feeling skip-ity then I'll go by two's. (Which is when I trip... -.-)
