"Yep.." I say,, taking a bite of mine.

"We should finish this fast then do whatever else we need to do.

 

[InfinityFlames]

I toss the apple core into some bushes and check the time in my player menu.
"Hm.. we have about 15 minutes left. Any suggestions on what to do?"

 

[brownboy102]

"Hm...No, I don't know." I say, throwing my orange peels on the ground.

"But we're both hurt and need time to recover, I suggest we hide for a little while, just to rest."

 

[InfinityFlames]

I nod.
"There's a cave over there." I say and start limping towards it.

 

[brownboy102]

I follow, and grab her arm that was on her weak leg's side and put it over my shoulder. My back pain made this incredibly difficult, but I kept on moving.

 

[InfinityFlames]

"Thanks." I mutter as we reach the cave.
"Why does this place seem suspicious?"

 

[brownboy102]

"I don't know, but I think that's normal for a cave."

 

[InfinityFlames]

I sigh.
"Yeah, I guess. Let's get some rest."
I say, gesturing towards a large ledge hanging lowly from the side of the cave.

 

[brownboy102]

"Thank god." I say, and I walk over to the spot she gestured at, lay down and shut my eyes.

 

[InfinityFlames]

Not quite comfortable with sleeping so close to another person, I lie down on the floor.
"I'll set up an alarm for 10 minutes."

 

[brownboy102]

"Al...right..." I say.

"Tha...nks.." I fall asleep.

 

[InfinityFlames]

I sit up, not able to sleep, memories of the monsters flooding my head as I bite my lip.

 

[brownboy102]

I wake up and look at her.

"Something wrong?" I say, sleepy.

 

[InfinityFlames]

My eyes watering, I shake my head and look away.
"Nothing's wrong."

 

[brownboy102]

"Seems like there is.." I say.

"If there is anything, it would be best to tell someone, especially a teammate."

I had no intention of backstabbing this girl...yet.

I speak a little louder, my voice quivering just barely.
"There's nothing wrong."

"Don't lie to me. Something is wrong. Tell me, we're a team."

5 minutes had gone by.

"T-the monsters..." I say distantly.
Since when was I this weak?

 

[brownboy102]

"Be strong. Neither of us will cave (No pun intended) in if we have each other. Remember that I'm always here."

I nod.
