I mean yeah, Fire Emblem has a lot of reps, but you gotta think... What are Nintendo's 4 biggest franchises? Mario, LoZ, Pokemon, and Fire Emblem. So naturally they are gonna have more reps. While I would absolutely LOVE to see more reps in other fields like Donkey Kong, it just makes sense that FE, Pokemon, Mario, and LoZ have the most reps. Im hoping none of them get many more though. 5 for each popular franchise is enough.
Yes but things are now out of balance, and Donkey Kong is up there as a big franchise as well, and Animal Crossing is also a huge money maker for them.
Fire Emblem has too many representatives now, and they're all just lazy for the most part. They have the same perry moves and everything. At least Dixie, Tom Nook, or someone from a different series could offer up something exciting.

Well, I didnt realize Metroid was near as popular as it apparently is, and the next 3 definitely would have been Animal Crossing, Pikmin, and Kirby, definitely. I was listing the four that I hear stuff about constantly. Animal Crossing would be the fifth that I hear about all the time. Forgive me if Im completely wrong.
It'd probably be something like
1)Pokemon
2) Mario games
3)Animal Crossing
4)Zelda
5)Smashbros (though it's sort of a combination of other franchises..)
Like fire emblem isn't really popular at all in comparison to the other franchises (let's face it, the only popular FE game was awakening, which only sold like 1.5 million globally - just to give you a comparison new leaf sold almost 9 million globally)
Okay, fair enough. I guess most of what I see is people within that 1.5 million talking about stuff. Sorry for my ignorance
Fire emblem is only popular amongst older gamers and a select few younger ones, which accounts for the huge difference in sales compared to other games.
As well as FE being for more mature players, since it's a strategic RPG which requires thought.

According to a wiki page I found Fire Emblem has around 7 million sales, and it's 13th on the list, not including all the sub series that other franchises have (Mario Kart/Party/RPG/ect.). According to the list even Yoshi on it's own has more sales than Fire Emblem.
