Smash Bros Roy & Ryu Pretty Much Confirmed for Smash 4

If that was like possible they would have been in the original game

somehow manage to work them in with the 3DS' capabilities even though they tried to to no avail then maybe

just don't buy Roy

Lol are you kidding? There are a crap ton of people who wanted Roy back, despite him being a clone. He's my fav FE char to appear in a Smash game, so I'm pretty satisfied.
I'm actually kinda surprised that Wolf (as far as I know) isn't on the way

there're probably more people that don't want him to come back vs that do, because he was primarily a clone of marth.
And now we have Lucina..
And he was only in like what 2 games or something?
ppl keep saying that hes a popular character and that melee made him popular but it really didn't lol, hardly anybody even used Roy, they all used Marth. What I don't understand is why Nintendo is bringing back a character whose last d?but on a game was something like 14 years ago...

seems like they're just bringing old characters back for the sake of it.
#can't wait until we get the kanto starters, ice climbers, Pichu, young link, wolf & snake back
seriously though, I don't have any problem with old characters reappearing on the roster, as long as they're not clones with minor adjustments
There are people who want him, and people who don't. I've been checking twitter on and off since the leak, and it seems a lot more people are happy to be getting him, than to not be getting him at all. Idk, there is really no way of telling. I think he was pretty well liked in Melee, but he wasn't top tier like Marth is, which may be why he was used significantly less. He's used more in PM, that's all I can say, haha.
Also, for those of you who still may be skeptics of all this, I'd advise you to check out the leakers twitter. He has been posting the images and what not all day. I believe he is done now. Apparently all of the data in the patch points to both Ryu and Roy being available to download tomorrow?! Guess we'll have to wait and see..https://twitter.com/RandomTBush
People only want roy coz they're all sheep. Literally no one gave a **** until ppl started roys our boy and all that BS and then coz ppl are stupid and have no sense of identity they latch on to other ppls ideas hence Roy got a big following which he didn't really deserve oops™

I personally don't even know what else I want at this point. I'm really happy about Dreamland, I really hope they continue adding older stages. I'd love for Saffron & Fourisde to come back. Some brand new characters would be nice, but tbh I'd rather have every character from prior games in, before brand new characters.

That'd be such a huge waste considering most aren't even wanted/are "clones". Right now, I'd rather have new music (YES THEY'RE DOING THIS)/stages/modes instead of Roy. The whole argument that "there aren't slots and clones don't take up much development time" (not accusing you of this) falls flat when you see that besides characters there's still a bunch of things that can be done in the time it takes to make a clone. I feel like if they added Pichu and Young Link there would be huge backlash and it would likely take time away from other things that could use it.

idk what Nintendo's motives are for bringing Roy back, but I'm 50/50, since I hate clones but like using Marth/Lucina.
