Rover on the train?

but he can only sit in the cafe belonging to the kid who they forced to be mayor in his place anyway becaaause...
Isabelle studies magic in her free time and she placed a curse on Rover's spirit limiting him to the train and the cafe so that he couldn't appear as a ghost for foreigners in other towns, thus making him unable to expose all of them and their evil plan to anyone else outside of the town

and obviously there are multiple universes where different human-mayors are in charge of different towns, and rover is in all of them and is subjected to the same fate every time... but all of the different Rovers on all of the different trains are never able to interact or plot against the forces of evil because of this curse

...which makes Katie an inter-dimensional traveler, too... yeah... yeah, that sounds good.

But interesting conspiracy theories. Now, what if Rover wasn't really dead? Perhaps, after Nook sent his hit man after Rover, Rover pretended to be dead and really survived in that dark attic because the player saved his life. And perhaps, Rover decided to let the player become mayor in his stead as gratitude for saving his life and so Nook doesn't learn he's still alive. Also, Brewster and Porter are apparently on Rover's side. And maybe Rover's just an alias? Yeah, idk if that makes any sense. lol
 
Yeah... and the villager kid is really bad at keeping secrets... so he got cursed to be limited to small simpleton phrases as his communication... Rover may have been forced out of the attic, and Isabelle secured it to be a hypnotic chamber, where the player gets told into thinking they're the mayor, when really, tom nook is in charge...
(also none of that probably makes sense. Its midnight rn)

oooh, i like this! or, if Rover wasn't in the dark attic when the hit was scheduled because he was showing the original child where to go, and so the people targeting him left to go find him.
when rover got back, he noticed that someone had broken into his hiding place, and that's what prompted him to seek help from Porter.
Porter pulled Brewster into it because Brewster is so calm and collected that he can keep a secret well and he also has the means to provide Rover with sustenance...
so now Rover lives from train-to-train, keeping his true identity a secret and stopping in the cafe every-so-often when he's hungry/thirsty
 
Maybe katie gets her love of trains from rover, who is actually her long lost dad, or accomplice. Katie rides the trains to pass info from outside world, on to rover. This role was originally katie's mum's job, but she was taken away. Katie is forever on the run from nook and isabelle... (again this makes no sense..)
 
Gosh, I log off for a few hours and the story has grown so much! How awesome :)

I am willing to work with anybody who wants to make a fanfiction/YouTube film/role play... ;)

IF not I will happily volunteer and post it to Wattpad
 
I didn't read it all but I skimmed it. I'm writing a novel, fanfic, and short stories but I'll write this :P But it looks like a cool idea

I'm not good with story collabs.
Maybe everyone who wants to write it should. I'm sure everyone will have a different take and maybe change some things.
