Giveaway [ROUND 1] Guess the character I'm thinking of - Prize: Yoshi egg

It's time for a giveaway for those of you who need / have trouble finding eggs and need a ~YOSHI EGG~!

You can enter if: you have no eggs, or you only have ONE yoshi or togepi egg (regular/classic eggs don't count). I'm thinking that if you only have a yoshi egg you could use the one you win here to trade for a togepi. If you don't meet these requirements please give other people a chance or PM me if you have concerns.

Anyways, here's a few hints to start off:

-from a book series
-male author
-male character

Hints will be released periodically. You may guess once every 10 mins. Once this round is over the prize will change as well as the character I'm thinking of.
