Room Ideas?

I'm trying to redesign my characters house, and so far I have 4/6 rooms done. However, I can't think of what to do with the remaining two rooms (back room and left room). Anyone have any ideas? It doesn't have to be something from your house, or you could even direct me to a Dream Address that has some pretty cool rooms, but I'm pretty frustrated. How can this game have so many items, yet I can't come up with a room design with at least 10 of them? *cri*

Main room: Ice Set
Upstairs: Rococo Set customized to Gothic Black
Downstairs: Weeding Day Cafe
Right Room: Balloon Set with all Bunny Balloons

I think the balloon set looks great mixed with the birthday stuff, villager pictures, sweets flooring/wallpaper, and balloons, it can turn out really colorful and cute. Maybe mix the bug catching day set with the weeding day stuff or even mush since those go with the plant theme. Maybe add a library or a music room. Or maybe a garden room with the by wall and lots of cute nicknacks and plants.

I like creating fun rooms that are different from any I've seen. My new town has some really fun rooms. I don't have the code handy, but it's Mayor Annette from Cherish.

I have 4 towns in my sig. The houses are fun. You might like seeing them. My Critters town has some of my favorite rooms in it.

i have a kitchen, a spa basement and a sweets main room in addition to my three bedrooms.

the spa and kitchen are honestly my favorite things ever and i put a lot of work into them. let me know if you ever want to visit just to take a quick look and get some ideas!

I have my basement as a "club/party" room if you like stuff like that. It has mannequins for people (lol), DJ turntable, lights, etc.

You could also do like a space/galaxy styled room with some of the space-y items?

I'm basing my rooms off of rooms (some looser than others) that I've seen in Dragon Age: Inquisition; with a little of my own touch added to them. If you're really looking for some change, even if it's temporary, maybe base it off of something you like watching or playing? In the Sims 3, I've tried making rooms look like rooms seen in Final Fantasy XIII, Assassin's Creed II/Brotherhood; and it is fun to fiddle with what furniture there is available to use that remind me of those places (which is limited). I know that doesn't sound very creative and maybe it's not, but what matters is that you like how it looks; so, just putting a suggestion out there.

Another thing to maybe try is, try doing something that you haven't seen anyone do in their dream houses, or maybe the opposite? I don't know if that makes sense or not.

Also, try mix and matching furniture; think about what kinds of things you like outside the game, maybe have some of your own personal tastes be reflected a little or a lot in the rooms.

I hope some of these suggestions help. I'll try coming up with more ideas.

I am in no way an expert but have you tried to recreated, rooms from real live? or maybe recreated rooms of your favorite series or other media, I have tried to do with some results, also you can design a place to look like a restaurant or a shop, I know lots of people do that. But it's that where your creativity comes in play.

At my old game I tried to represent every single comodity that a real house should have, living room, kitchen, bedroom, for my the hardest was to design the bathroom also had a room with me villager's pics.

It all depends if you want a tradicional take or something more unusual, hope you get the inspiration you need, I am currently having similar issues with my house.
