[Roleplay] Fleeting Hope (Now Accepting!)

Another soldier grabs Sina,throwing her into the van.Two others close and lock the doors."D*****!"Sina yells,hitting the doors.
Luna puts her head in her knees,trying to take her mind off of the situation.

Terrified, I lean against the wall of the van, hugging my knees.
I wrap my arms around Alexa, for her sake and mine. What's gonna happen to us? Is Dad okay..?

Sina continued hitting the door.Finally,it popped open.She gestured to the others to come here.

Hearing a noise, I look up, to see that Sina has managed to open the door. I stop hugging Alexa and Try to get her attention. "Alexa," I whisper. "Alexa, look."
"Huh..?" I look up and notice the door. I stop hugging my knees and Abrianna and I both move towards Sina.

I look at the door and get out of the van to see where we are.

(I've been writing my story based on this today xD The word count target for NaNoWriMo is 50k though, and so far I've only done 1.3k... I don't think I'm gonna finish this by the end of NaNo xD)

"Did she just jump out of a moving van?She's crazy!"Luna screams.

"Not really,it's our best bet,now come on!"Sina saysjumping out with Luna.They quickly duck down behind a patch of tall grass.

Holding onto Alexa, we jump out of the back of the van together without much hesitation. We quickly rejoin the others.

"Where on earth are we."

I look around at the surroundings. "I have no idea... Gotta be better than wherever they were trying to take us though, right?"

"Well I want to go home so I can get back to training there is not long till the nationals and they are majorly important for me."

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"Are you kidding? Please tell me you're kidding. Everyone we know has just been either kidnapped or shot, and you're worried about some stupid tournament?"

 

[lucyhartfilia]

"No why would I joke about the only life I have" I say and then say "all I ever do is train, sleep or work out so I have no life and I need to become famous at gymnastics so I can be like my sister and mam."

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"What.. I don't even... You don't get it, do you? There aren't going to be nationals, not after this. Those vans were all over the city, they've took everyone we know. People who resisted were ****ing shot. You have no reason to train anymore. Our focus right now has to be on trying to survive without being caught again, not training for some ****ing tournament."
I shuffle over towards Sina, hiding behind her. ...Bri has never looked this angry before, she's scary...

"look I did not mean to make you angry but what is wrong with me training that will keep me alive."

I stop and take a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.
I hesitantly peek out from hiding behind Sina. "I think what Bri was trying to say is... That we should stick together... and not all go off to do our own things, right..?"

"look I am not trying to be natty but none of you have ever made an attempt to talk to me before so it is hard to get used to this many people around me."

I retreat back to behind Sina. I look down at the floor, feeling like an idiot for trying to help and failing, and still feeling scared about the events of today.
"Sorry I got a little worked up there, this isn't really a particularly comforting situation..." I still don't even know if Dad is okay...

"I know how you feel don't worry I just always push feelings away so it is easier to train."

"If you go back you'll be cau-"Sina stops when another van spots them,pulling over."Hey!What are you doing?"A man yells,getting out.

"We have to run,it looks like we are in some country farming area,we can escape through the crops.They can hide us,"Sina whispers to the others.
