Pokémon restarting alpha sapphire possibly

I'm thinking about doing it only becuase I have forgotten where I was headed to last time I played it like 4 months ago, I would prefer a fresh start rather than walking around aimlessly trying to figure out what I am meant to be doing lol, what do you guys reckon?

I guess a fresh start is a good idea, it`ll help you getting back into the story, if you have caught pokemon you`d rather like to keep, you could temporarily trade them to another 6th gen game or Pokemon Bank if you have.
