I've been considering restarting my third town. I liked the map originally, but I've been having issues laying paths and I regret the mayor's house placement. I'll cycle to get out all of the popular villagers to good homes since I have a few. I'm not very far, I've only upgraded the store once and unlocked the garden shop, but that's about it.

Let me know what you think. :<

I would start over. My reasoning with restarting is if you have two or three things you don't like constantly it warrants a reset. I was having the same issues and I didn't regret it.

May I ask what villagers you would be cycling out? Just curious. :b

The current villagers I have are:
Hopper (moving tomorrow)
Flora
Samson
Gloria
Shep
Grizzly(someone's asked for him)
Lolly
Merengue
Daisy
Mira

Not a bad line up. Hope you can find them good homes! Was kiiinda hoping Kyle was on that list. XD

He may pop up while I'm cycling. You never know who you're gonna get

Haha, true. I have someone who's helping me by letting me come get him but they're having issues with him. He's 'moving', but not in boxes for some reason.

Basically I'm just looking everywhere else for him, juuuust in case.

Just reset, if there's things you don't like about it now, you're only going to find more things you don't like about your town. I reset my town just recently and I don't regret it for I have the house placement that works (Except some cat moved in front of me, so she's going to have to go) as well as a villager island and no lakes and rocks in the way.

Also, if you haven't made much progress, it's not such a big loss, so just go for it.

I'd say go for the reset. I personally am not fond of the map myself either.

Kyle just moved into my town right in front of my house so he has to go! XD

Anyway, I would rest or maybe turn it into a cycle town if you don't already have one or is it already a cycle town?

Definitely reset if there are things you don't like about your town. If they bug you now, they'll bug you later as well. However, donMt let other people make that choice for you. If you secretly like your town map, keep it! Otherwise, ditch it and make a new one!

I've had a cycle town before. I'll probably use it as a cycle town for a bit until I get 'meh' villagers that don't really matter to anyone. Or until I get tired of it.

I liked the map initially, but it's started to lose its appeal to me. I'll reset when I'm done cycling people out. Thanks for everyone's input :)
