Resetting?

Hi, I was thinking of using the villager reset trick, but I've heard rumors that doing it could corrupt your save file. Is this true? Does it happen? Is resetting safe?

No, it is entirely safe. Do not listen to rumors. the only way you can corrupt is turning off your DS while saving, and that's nothing to do with resetting but mostly an everyday part of AC owo

Yea it's perfectly fine and tbh I don't know how that false rumor even got started. I've done it hundreds of times by now and have never had an issue. Don't worry about it
