Resetting question

Hello everybody
I have seen that many people in this forum reset for their native fruit. I always ask myself why so many people do that, because you are able to get all other fruits in the game by doing trades etc.
So, what are the reasons why so many reset for the native fruit?

You can only grow perfect apples in your town if your native fruit is apples etc.

It's just about preference, usually.

I think it's just because they like that fruit (maybe in real life) or they think it looks better in-game than the other fruit - that's the only explanation I can think of.
