So, I feel conflicted about doing the reset center. I probably will add it as I am thinking after a little while I may restart my file because I have learned things about this game I didn't realize or know about when it came to picking a map. (which is fine) So if I don't like it, it won't matter anyway. But I was curious if you guys have ever skipped doing the reset center, and if there is anything in particular you do get or unlock for having the reset center.
I have the Reset Center in my main town but not my second town, at least not yet. I've been debating about building it in my second town, but I don't know where to place it so I'm holding off because it cannot be moved or removed once built.
As far as I know the only thing the Reset Center does is add Resetti and Don to your game. On a clear night after it has rained the previous day, the Reset Center can be found open and then you can go down and visit Resetti and Don. They have some fun dialogue and you can earn their pictures if you visit enough times. I think it's cute, but it's not something that makes or breaks the game either way.
If you do build the Reset Center, then anytime that you reset Resetti will pop up and scold you when you log back in. If you don't build the Reset Center, then he won't do that except for the very first time you reset, which is the trigger to add the Reset Center to your list of PWPs.
I always build the Reset Centre, purely just for the experience of going underground to see them. It's a cute/funny little sequence in their little cave. I am also a collector so getting their pictures is very important to me. I would say that it is absolutely worth building- if you want to (although it may be more fun if you don't spoil it for yourself) search it up on the internet so you can see what it is like when you go into their little underground centre or work out how to unlock it if you get confused.
