Remember in wild world Or city folk there was this bottle you throw in the sea? Yeah I miss that too.
They don't do it in New Leaf right? Or am I missing out?

Hm, I miss the message in a bottle, too. I haven't seen any in the ~2 months I've been playing. So, I don't believe it was an included feature in this game.

I remember throwing a message to sea that said:
"Hello. It's very nice talking to someone I don't know. Hope you have a nice day!"
Or something like that.

The next day, my sister started playing Animal Crossing. And she got that message in the bottle by me. I was shocked.

The crazy thing is that Streetpass seems perfect for bottled messages. Imagine if you could write a letter and add a gift, throw it in the ocean and have it washed up in the town of the next person you streetpassed with!
