anyone have any regrets? i have a few, such as kicking apollo out and naming my town "my butt" a few years ago because i was 12 and thought it was hilarious LMAO. not a day goes by im just shaking my head as marshal mentions the "keep my butt beautiful" ordinance i created :')))

YEAH there was a meme going on http://www.smosh.com/smosh-pit/phot...own-animal-crossing-my-butt-and-its-hilarious
AND ME, BEING MY OLD EDGY SELF, was like haha so funny im gonna be so original and name my town this!!11!!1

Lowkey it's definitely kinda funny like I chuckled at all the pics in that link hahaha
I named my town Cape Egg literally just because I like eggs and I love it right now but I'm not sure if I'm gonna hate it in the future. It's nothing like "My Butt" though :')

I wish I hadn't sold my original town I started on release day. It had a lot of problems like dumb town name and mayor name (like just dumb and random, not dumb and potentially funny), really bad house placement and permanent pwp placement, but I get nostalgic for it now that it's gone. I had it for four years before I sold it to Nook. I love my new towns, but still...

aw man that sucks, i feel like if i redid my town i wouldnt miss the name too much but its still where i met all my favorite villagers
at least it sounds like you made a ton of new progress which i had to with my second town bc i deleted it while i was goofing off
i just wanted to see tom nooks value and leave

I think it's hilarious and should be kept as a classic. Of course, I have a couple dozen cartridges to waste on nonsense. Good work!

I was inactive on Animal Crossing for about a month and in that time, Poppy moved away. She was still in boxes so luckily I was able to keep her in my sister's town for awhile, but I regret my inactivity. This happened in September and she's still in my sister's town. She won't ask to move lmao

naming my town "my butt"...

..."keep my butt beautiful" ordinance

classy

#KeepMyButtBeautiful

I would like to name my town "my butt" just for laughs, not out of immaturity. It's hilarious, but some of the things villagers mention when referring to "my butt" can be a little innappropriate, that would be the only con.

I don't have any regrets in particular. I learn to love my town for the way it is and the things I can't change about it. Like sometimes I wish my mayor's house placement was in a different place, but I eventually get over that regret, so...

Not a regret but more of a you’ve got to be kidding me moment. After I put my first town that was like a religion to me in a two week hiatus so I could move in real life, I somehow managed to let it get two months behind, how??? Every time I made progress catching up something else happened and kept getting more and more behind and I just quit playing because I do not like playing out of season. So almost a year later I decided to get a new cartridge and start over with a brand new town where I could do all of the things that I didn’t know about in the beginning right, apply my learning curve you know? Only to find out about the WA update so here I am in the same boat as before, still learning new things... I just found out villagers don’t get sick anymore two days ago.

I’m one of the ones that didn’t know you could pick your map so played the first one I got, I kept all original ten villagers and sold my box of tissues because I didn’t know any better.

I wish my older towns had better maps, but I was very naive in those days and hadn't started thinking in terms of holding ponds, rocks and such. Probably my biggest regret was my first town of Cocoplum in which I plotted the campsite directly in the front of my town. I landscaped and it looks fabulous, but I still wish I had plotted it elsewhere. I also plotted the Reset Center up front as well, lol.

when I first got my cartridge, the last owner had already made a town and two characters and I didn't know about resetting the town until I had already felt like I was too far to start over. They also put the mayor's house right in front of the campground.
(who names their town "browns" with a lowercase b!?!?)

Oh my gosh! I'm 28 and this is still hilarious... Is there something wrong with me? I keep imagining adopting a villager from you... Arriving at your town and being welcomed to "my butt", and eventually hearing that villager talk about the town tune of "my butt" and wondering how all his old friends were doing in "my butt"...

..."Do you think they miss me in "my butt"? I love this town but Ill always think fondly about my time in "my butt"..."

...yeah, there's definitely something wrong with me... XD

PFFF i still giggle!! my mom visits my town and always shakes her head but laughs when she talks to my villagers
i really dont regret it as much as i thought i did c'x

Oh.
Oh my.
That's unfortunate.
LOL
I wish I plotted my house better in Chapman.
That's about it, my towns set up great!

I wish I'd have stopped Leonardo from moving in the worst possible location. Of course that will fix itself eventually, but he's blocking where I want to place Nibbles.

Hi, if you would like to maybe learn a lot of things faster, this thread called "Things you didn't know about forever" is wonderful. It is here on TBT, started by Bubblebeam just about a year ago: https://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?417101-Things-you-didn-t-know-about-forever

Hope you like it!

i bet your villagers are having a lovely time in your butt.

i really wish i didn’t delete my first town. i was very little though and too crazy about the game so i just did it :/ if i didn’t share the town with my sisters back then, i would probably still play my first town today. i miss all of those exclusive DLC letters.

Lmao this reminds me of people naming Epona "my butt" in Twilight Princess to make a certain scene in the opening funnier. I'm 21 and laughed a little remembering this so I guess I'm immature lol.

Anyway, my biggest regret is deleting the town I created at launch, after two or three years of playing. I haven't been able to really play ACNL since. Idk why, I guess it just feels like a chore going through the first day and then having to wait so long to get some of the better shops on Main Street open. It really sucks.
