1) Pokemon X - It isn't doesn't have a story like Black/White and Black 2/White 2, but it certainly held my attention for a long time. I wish it had a larger after game, but I'm kept occupied by breeding for a shiny Eevee. ^.^ It also has made me want to join the competitive battle field more than ever thanks to how easy it is to IV breed now.
2) Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Honestly, I haven't had this game very long, but it still has managed to triumph the other games in my library. I haven't felt more relaxed while playing a video game in forever, I always look forward to waking up in the morning to play. I can't speak of how it has improved compared to the past games in the series, but it has left a great first impression of Animal Crossing for me.
3) Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity - This game, like Pokemon X, has a story that pales in comparison to it's predecessor. The inability to choose your gender bothered me to, especially since I had planned to play as girl character from the beginning, and it ruined the fantasy of my team I had already had in my head. Despite that, this was still a fun game, with the same addicting play-style of the previous ones. It also has some of the best visuals I have seen on any handheld Pokemon game.
4) Nintendogs + Cats - I know I'm probably being judged by just about everyone reading this right now for let alone owning this game, but I can't help it, I just love Nintendogs. I was disappointed with the cats in the game, as they really didn't bring much to the series. In fact, they can't be entered in any competitions or be taken outside, and eventually, began to feel more like dead weight compared to the dogs. Still, it mostly stayed true to the old Nintendogs with updated graphics, and I loved playing it.
5) New Super Mario Bros. 2 - I stink at Mario games, and this one is no expectation. I die constantly in this game, and have had to resort to the invincibility suit more than once. It also bothered me that if I forgot to quick save before turning off the game system, I'd have usually be set a few levels back. Normally, this wouldn't be that big of a deal, but for me, it usually meant powering through at least one or two levels I had struggled with before. I am sure this is just my own experience, though. When I don't completely fail while playing, I do have a good time. I guess Mario games aren't for everyone.
6) Pokemon Rumble Blast - This game is just so... boring. As one of my first 3DS games, I still haven't finished it. The constant mashing of the A and B buttons to attack everything gets boring real fast. The game's story isn't solid at all, there are only a few prominent characters, with no one really giving you the drive to complete the game. So what if the fountains are running out of water? There's still enough for my entire team to heal. I really want to like this, but it just didn't do it for me.
