Rage Quit

I haven't played anything on the island in a long time. After reading this, do I really want to? xD Hahaha. I'm sure I will eventually! I'm sorry you experienced so much frustration. :( it will get better!~

I rage quit club tortimer once from another users inappropriate language. Now I choose to only go when I have enough medals to buy and leave straight away.

I've never had any bad experiences there, at least so far. I had quite a heartwarming experience a while back, when two young children questioned why my mayor was wearing a dress when he was clearly a guy. When I explained it to them, they didn't care at all. It was a wonderful thing to witness because back in 2010 when I used to play City Folk with people, I got a lot of ridicule for stuff like that, and to play New Leaf in 2016 and see for myself how much things have changed, and how many more people are willing to accept people for their differences, is just really lovely. So, no. I've never had to rage quit on anybody.

I don't think i've ever raged quit a game before. I know i've gotten angry while playing a game such as a fighting game, but i've never actually thrown a console across the room or a game, or even animal crossing. My animals don't really make me all that angry or upset since they're always constantly nice to me (apart from when they try to sell me their junk), so theres nothing that really angers me. But I never rage quit though, because I know how expensive a console would be to replace, and I know i'd definitely regret it later.

I'd have to say my biggest game-thrown-rage-quit would of have to have been RAGE. I was playing for hours, 4-6 at least. I screwed up and accidentally fell off the elevator in my car, and I didn't know I wouldn't be able to get back on. I cried. Because my last save had been from that many hours ago. took out the disk, and I shot off my console. I haven't touched the game since. My ACNL experience would be recently. Yuka had asked me four times to move. Each time she would say nevermind. The last time she did it I said yelled "NOPE. NOT TODAY." and closed AC as fast as possible. She was gunna leave. And I never talked to her again. :) So she did move lol.

When I was a tad smaller, a guy and I were playing MarioKart and he kept insulting me. Long story short I threw the ds across the room.
When turned on it had a pink-ish screen and it was off it's hinge a little bit. the sound was also distorted. I've never been that angry ever since, though (first and last time, lots of years later to become the chillest around xP)

Ummm... me thinks you need a different hobby, a therapist to help you sort through your anger issues and coping methods, or both. You could have simply done another tour or an easier one if it was available. No game is worth damaging electronic equipment over (and I don't know about anyone else, but for some people, these systems and games aren't dirt cheap for everyone where they can just buy a new one the next day when they break their old one by flinging it across the room and into the wall).

The Legend of Spyro series (the one where Elijah Wood voiced Spyro).
I was NOT pleased with that game. I come from the day of the original Spyro trilogy. You know, when it NOT an emo-drama badly/strangely voice cast, strangely directed railroad of a game? Yeah I'm from that era. The good one. ;)

I was deeply disappointed with that Legend of Spyro series, so much so that I sold it back to the game store. It wasn't a "throw stuff around and scream" rage quit. More like a simmering annoyed and precisely executed rage quit.

I won't even touch Skylanders. Nope. Spyro is not a scaly bulldog. I'm sorry. Just nope.

Eh, it's really only your fault. The tours with chess pieces only have like a series of items that they're looking for, chess pieces, guitars, plants & cactus are the things I can remember most. Another item is usually always from a furniture set. There's enough times to pick items up and check their name in your inventory.

I do get mad over games from time to time, but never Animal Crossing. Usually platformers where I just can't get the right jump. I get mad quickly when I play games, I just get frustrated when I'm stuck. That's probably why I love ACNL so much, the only frustration there comes from my own perfectionism.

That kind of rage isn't really healthy though. Don't push yourself over your limit, just do something else.

i dont understand why this got bumped back to life but i also dont understand why ppl had been on ops case for this...everyone has those moments where they just lose it, sometimes it can just be a small thing compouding ontop of a lot of things

anyway. growing up i went to a daycare that had a 64 and one time i threw the controller at a kid for distracting me

i learnt the chess pieces because of my chess room on animal crossing lets go to the city
