Rafflesia

You know that red flower in the museum?

Rafflesia appear when the town has been neglected for too long or Time Traveling has occurred. They have appeared in all Animal Crossing games to date. In City Folk, a Rafflesia appears in the Town Museum. Rafflesia can be rid of by weeding the town. Flies can be caught near them.

Rafflesia is the largest flower in the world in real life. They smell like... errrm... poop. Which is why flies are drawn to them.

They appear if you TT like 80 years into the future. XD
Had one in WW, took 2 weeks to kill, TTing helps kill it as long as you remove all the weeds and such. Trees won't grow most of the time when it is there and it kills your flowers.
Basically; step 1-weeds; step 2-clovers; step 3-deathrafflesia

I've saw one before and it smelled like rotting meat, the guide said that was why it attracted flowers.
