Quick Poll - What hemisphere did you choose?

I feel as if there are more players within TBT forums who chose the northern hemisphere.

I chose north.

it seems pointless to do southern because i want the seasons to align. it would be cool if they could ask your location so it could mimic your weather (maine being freezing all your round, missouri getting random spawns of weather)

Northern, since that's the actual hemisphere I live in. I prefer to witness Animal Crossing seasons in real time.

i chose southern because winter is my favourite season and wanted to play in it sooner~

haha, i get this. part of why i chose southern hemisphere, though, was actually because of the conflicting seasons; animal crossing is sort of an escape for me, and being in different seasons than in real life really lends to that c’:

most of my friends also chose north, and it makes me really happy to be able to help them out by providing them with seasonal critters, clothes, and recipes!

I live in the southern but chose north.

If I'd started the game in winter, the hideous unnatural (to me) snow would have made me not want to play.

Snow has always been the reason for me deleting every town since Wild World, so I figured my game life expectancy stood a better chance starting nearer to summer.

I chose Northern. I just can't picture Christmas during anything other than winter, etc. Plus I just want to match where I live, and I live on the Northern Hemisphere.

I picked northern because the game came out on March 20th and I knew cherry blossom season wasn't far away. I wanted to see that.

Sure, it matches my real life hemisphere, but cherry blossom season really was the primary reason I chose it.

I impulsively chose southern specifically because the nooklings recommended I choose northern. The first month or so didn't seem too off from what it would have been if I took their advice, but the irl and in-game seasons are starting to clearly diverge now. Looking forward to some snow in July or August.

I live in Missouri and I would kinda like that idea. One day I’ll be collecting summer shells and the next I’ll be collecting snowflakes
