if a friend came to my town to get to a villager in boxes for their town, but their town is full, what happens? They eventually show up oncethey eventually show up once they have a villager move out?

If their town is full, the villager will not move in. You would have to try again once the town has a spot.

Your friend will have to kick a villager to be able to invite your villager in boxes.
