Questions about the Wii U!

Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, DKC: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, and WWHD are all great. Besides Wind Waker, they all have multiplayer so you should both have fun.

As for games, get Wind Waker HD if you're into Zelda, but besides that, save up for Smash 4 and Hyrule Warriors (again, if you're into Zelda). 3D World if you like Mario, but the rest I'd save for the releases coming next year.

We bought a pre owned Zelda edition of the Wii U, with it being pre owned the WWHD code was already redeemed but we got it really cheap. We're gonna buy Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D world and WWHD for now. I'm very excited to start playing on it hehe

In my post I said it was possibly a great game. I'm just as skeptical as everybody else, especially considering the last (arguably) great Sonic game was Sonic Colors.

I'd beg to disagree. I tried and hated Colors. It's a solidly built game compared to more recent things at the time, but still not a good nor fun game imo. But hey, to each their own.

Congrats.
I should have bought mine on Boxing Day. In Canada it was 250 with 2 free games.
Paid 300 with the 2 free game in April. Worth the dollars. Favorite game is Super Mario World 3D.
Good youtubes for that game.

Hence the "arguably". One of my friends thinks Generations is the best Sonic game in recent years but I think it's a steaming pile of crap. If you want to see how torn people are on which Sonic games are good and bad just make a general thread and see the horror unleash.

We all know Sanic Hegehog is best though.

I have a question. My television has a built in VCR recorder and is 13'' screen. It has audio and video yellow and white inputs and Arial and scart. No hdmi. Can I still use a Wii u?

Technically, yes. However, none of the cables that come with the Wii U can be used, and you'll have to buy compatible connectors separately.

Okay. Might as well just get a new TV too. No newer consoles are gonna work without compatible cables
