So I'm planting a bunch of pink and blue hydrangeas and I've gotten to like 13 and after that, the ones I try to plant do not bloom. I been time traveling to get them from the garden shop and there's plenty of space where I'm planting and nothing around them. What could be the problem?

You can only plant a certain number of bushes/trees/bamboo in a row that are directly touching each other with no break in the line. I believe that number is actually 12 (possibly 13? I can't remember the exact number), so you may have just hit the limit.

The number is 12.

OP you've hit the limit. Try putting the starts somewhere else, I'm sorry to say but it'll never happen.

This is why I changed usiing bush starts as an outline for my paths. What a mess

Sorry about the bad news. Again, the line consists of bushes, trees, and bamboo, even in diagonal lines. You can break it up with flowers and blank spaces, but that's all you can do. Best of luck with your landscaping!

You have to break the chain. My bushes are all spaced apart from each other for the most part except around a couple villager houses but even those aren't a super long chain.
