Hello all I’ve been looking around the internet for any information on this topic and can’t seem to find any! My question being;
Can I give furniture/wallpaper/flooring to my starting villagers in any way in order for them to change their interior decor?
I have given Cherry and a Sherb many letters with furniture attached and given them many items in person throughout the day while they are outside and inside their houses. I’m really sick of them having the generic houses. While Sherb’s house isn’t the worst as he was my first lazy villager and I had to make him some fruit furniture... Cherry's house looks like a crack den... (edit the items I have been giving them are the items you would find in their normal ACNH home; so Sherb loves the “Cute series” and Cherry likes random stuff including a rose bed)
I know in the older games (NL) if you write a letter in specific ways you could get your villager to put the item in their house (I could be wrong I just know the concept of writing specific words or phrases in letters could get your villagers to do stuff in game) However I’m not sure if this is still used?? Or if their is a different way to make my villager’s houses NOT look like they just moved in after a month of playing that would be great!
Sorry for the super long message but any advice would be mighty helpful!!
