Hello there fellow Animal Crossing New Leaf players! I have a small question about going on a trip to tortimers tropical vacation island!
As all of you know Kapp'n Sits in a boat on the deck on the beach of your town. After you pay 1,000 Bells to go to the island, he mentions that you cannot take any effects to the island (indicating that you cannot bring anything in your inventory, in your hand, and your mail). After that, he says that he will "Hold on to them" and proceeds to say that Most of your (the player) stuff will be there when you get back. So if I try go to the island with a full inventory, and Kapp'n takes it, Will something be lost? Or is this just a bit of humor in the game? I am very curious and I do not want to lost anything so if anyone knows, please tell me! I don't know because I've never risked it and there was nothing about it when I searched it up.
