I have a question and want to see if anybody knows the answer. Someone is selling a villager and they said they only gifted a wreath for the villagers door. Will the wreath carry on and show up when I get them? I'm not sure and would like to know.

I'm not 100% sure if it will, but if I had to guess, it likely will carry over. If it does, you could give them a new gift for their door and they should replace it.

I did hear it's possible to get rid of doorplates entirely if needed. If he does bring it to your island, you can gift a seasonal doorplate and the villager should take it down at the end of the season.

I adopted chief - he used to have a wreath then. Once he moved to my island it was gone. After a few weeks I gave him a new doorplate.

I didn't know villagers would put things on their doors if you gifted them to them!!! Now I'm so excited to do this!
They sure do. The only thing I gift my villagers are wrapped blue rose wreaths. It doesn't mess up their interior, nor can they wear it.

Thanks for the input guys! I think that they will carry over due to furniture and clothes already being carried over.
