Question for you guys. PLEASE answer if you know :)

OK so am wanting to move my 4th character into a new town soon. My question/s about this is:


Once I select move to a new town, and board the train, with my 4th character from my Main town, what if I don't like the map selections?

If I hit the power switch, what will happen to my 4th character? Will he disappear? Or go back to my main town, or will he still be there when I go back on the train?

Please tell me someone knows the answer to this.

Wow, I would be interested in the answer to this... I didn't even know you could move characters between towns! Darn it, when I had two towns this would have been useful info.

Once your character is transferred over to the other cartridge/3DS,it's pretty much like any other town reset.You'll be on the train with Rover and you can reset until you've found the map and villagers that you want.I didn't hit the power switch when I did this so I can't tell you what will happen.

Yeah. I've moved a previous character from my main town to a new cartridge before, but I had a decent map in the first try. I just don't know if you can do this when moving a character over from another game. I'm not extremely picky as this is just a cycle/holding town, but layout is extremely important to me, store wise and river placement wise.

I reset multiple times to get a decent map and a good group of villagers.

But have you done it with a character that you've moved over from another town?

Yeah...I moved my second character,Moby, from my town Catlips to her new town of Stilton where she is now mayor.

Btw,I believe I adopted Tabby from you back in March when I started Stilton.She's doing well there.
