Question for those who share their island..

Basically, islands with more than one resident.. Do you both really share the same custom designs? If they overwrite one does it overwrite yours? If that makes sense..

Having two characters on my island I can say yes, you do share patterns for custom designs, however they cannot delete yours and you can’t delete theirs. It shows the red circle with a line through it in the corner to represent this.

I believe you can delete the other’s designs? I’m the representative of the island so I’m not sure if it’s limited to just being the representative but I’ve deleted my boyfriends designs and we share an island

No unfortunately not. You share the limited number of spaces

You can delete them. The red circle with the line means you can't edit them- same as with codes you download from elsewhere.
