For those of us who are trying to complete the art section of our museums, I was just wondering how many of you use internet guides in determining which of Redd's paintings is genuine. Or, do you consider it "cheating?"
When I first started out I swore off using internet guides, but I just got frustrated. What I'll do is if I know the title of the painting, I'll look up the real life one and try to see differences between that and the in-game one, but if I've never seen the piece in my life, I'll just look up a cheat sheet. I like this method. It's still a challenge in itself to try to determine if the piece of art is the fake.
How do you guys approach this?
