Hello! I created this discussion because I wanted to know people's favorites and least favorites. I'd also love to know why you like/dislike them? Is it because of their model, attitude, or them just moving right in front of your town hall or re-tail?
For me, I'd say one of my favorites is Diana. I love how she looks, and i enjoy interacting with her on new leaf.
My least favorite by far HAS to be elise. She always seems to want more and more from me on pocket camp, and i'm not a big fan of her model either.
an unexpected favorite for me lately has been dobie, there's just something so comforting about have that ol' man hobbling around town. he's up there with marshal, who is a favorite that i feel needs no explanation.
least favorite: beardo. maybe superficial, but he just looks terrifying to me, like every creepy man you've ever seen lol. honorary mention goes to shari who moved right in front of my town hall -_-
My favorite villager is Grizzly. He's been my favorite ever since I started my GameCube town. He was so grouchy and abrasive and I was determined to win his heart, which I eventually did. Now, I've moved him into my New Leaf town and he is never allowed to leave.
I don't really have a least favorite. There are some villagers whose looks don't immediately appeal to me, but I've found a lot of villagers that I didn't initially like have grown on me, so I'm willing to give them all a chance if they move into my town.
My Favourite is Papi. He's the Villager in my town has has stayed the longest out of everyone. I've grown attached to him so much, I'd never want him to leave.
I don't really have a least favourite-
Some Villagers, as LadyDestani said, might not appeal to me first but they grown on me the longer they stay in my town.
My favorite is Marty. I love Sanrio and lazy villagers, so he is perfect all in one.
Plus pompompurin makes me happy. I love him a lot.
Least favorite is Hans. In my town Salem, I tried to move in Ankha from someone, but got Hans from a void.
He overwrote Ankha and would. not. move.
It took me two months to get him out. I highly dislike him.
I have a few that I don't know whether I could choose between for favorite. Pekoe, Mitzi, and Zucker are my favorites who actually live in my town. Epona is lovely, and ever since I learned about her approximately 6 hours ago I've decided that she's a dream villager. (Ganon seems really cool, too, can't lie.)
My least favorite. Boy, my least favorite is camofrog. I just don't like his model, don't like his name, and don't like that even now that he's gone he haunts my main street. Go awayyy, army-colored frogman.
The wolves have always been my favorites, but I'd say Chief tops the list, though Kyle is a close second.
As for least favorite, that has to go to Jambette. I've never really liked her, but after Chief moved out of my town in the earlier ACNL builds (back when there was no guarantee they'd tell you) and was replaced her of all villagers, that was definitely a moment that rocketted her to the top of my list. It took months to get rid of her.
My favourite villager is Tangy! Not only is she my favourite animal and species in the game, but she’s been in my towns every since Wild World and I love her design and personality <3 I don’t really have one least favourite tbh
Probably my favorite villager is Wolf Link, because he just looks so cool, with the patterns in his fur and even the manacle-bracelet thing like Link had as a wolf in Twilight Princess, which is one of my favorite games. Although I have a lot of other favorites that I could list, but I'll restrain myself, because it would be quite a long list. ^o^;>
My least favorite might be Rizzo. He moved into my town uninvited from another town I visited, he wouldn't leave for weeks, and the way his hair/hat/bandanna is tied under his nose grosses me out; that thing must be so dirty.
It's hard choosing just one of each, but here it goes:
Favorite: Flurry. She's one of the originals in my first town and she's so small and round and white... >v<
Least Favorite: I guess its Deirdre. She's the very first voided villager I got before I learned how the void works and also cancelled Francine's move in, a villager I had paid for and never got. She also plotted on top of my hybrids and took like 3 months to ping. I also dislike the markings in her face and I'm not a fan of the uchi personality as a whole, so, yeah. >v<
I really like the villagers that actually look like their species (coloring wise), like Dizzy the Elephant and most of the wolves. However I have a soft spot for Kabuki. He's in my town now and has lives by the cafe in his own bamboo forest.
Joey is my favorite villager because he's a fuzzy baby ducky.....and he's one of the few villagers in the game who has the decency to wear pants......yeah,I know it's actually a diaper.......
Leonardo was my least favorite villager during my first year or so playing ACNL(we've since patched things up)because I was doing a bit of cycling at the time and I kept getting that dead-eyed puma(or whatever he is)in my cycling towns and at least once he was the town "barnacle"--that villager who refuses to move out no matter how many times I'd cycle.I've always thought that his facial expression looked like someone had just hit him over the head with a large and heavy shovel(or bug net).Anyway,that's all in the past now and I've moved on but if I see him in a dream town I still might get the urge to give him a nice whack....you know,for old time's sake.
My favorite villager is Static because I like cranky villagers and he is also my favorite color. The squirrels are also really cute.
I'm not really sure who my least favorite villager is. Coco always creeped me out because in one of the console game if you reset while visiting someone's town, it gave your character that face. This accidently happened to my brother and he had to make a new file to get rid of it. She later also built her house right in front of the walkway to the beach in New Leaf. I couldn't build my lighthouse and it was really obnoxious to walk around. It also took forever to get her to move.
Tangy and Lolly are my absolute favorites. I like the cat villagers the most and those two examples have really pleasant designs. Tangy's design is especially memorable in my opinion and she has an awesome happy face. Lolly's appearance might not be as eye-catching in comparison with bright colors and stuff, but she's adorable and all around such a sweet cat (though I wish I had her in my town). She also kind of reminds me of my own cat who also happens to be a tabby cat, although my cat is more brown in color.
I'm not sure about a least favorite villager though. There are quite a few that I find unappealing appearance-wise, but I don't think there's anyone in particular that I'd especially dislike - I can give all kinds of villagers a chance. Though I must say that my least favorite villager would probably be a smug.
but the one that comes up in my mind now is Flurry!
