Cycling [Question] Can villagers being forced to move through Amiibo cards be traded?

I recently picked up some packs of Amiibo cards, and scanned Sterling in and scheduled him to move in, asking Roald to leave. Can Roald, or any other villagers asked to leave like this be traded?

Yes ! Once they're in moving boxes they can be adopted by players from another town. The only villagers that can't be traded this way are special ones like the Sanrio characters / Splatoon / Zelda.
