Sorry if this was already asked/posted somewhere else or if I posted it in the wrong place, lol, but I couldn't seem to find it when I was searching, so I thought I'd just ask.

Let's say I have a villager in boxes. I know you can't TT to make them stay or anything, but can you TT a few hours back in the same day to keep them in boxes? If I did this, would I lose said villager faster or is there an actual way to keep them in boxes for a while?

Again, sorry if this was asked already, thanks for your time~ c:

Yes, you can TT back in the same day. I've held several villagers for people several times and just made sure I wrote down the date so I didn't mess it up. DO NOT go past 6:00 AM into the next day, tho. I save before Midnight and reload an earlier time the same day over and over just to be safe if I have to do other things in my town.

But other than that, you are right. It's too bad we can't TT to make a villager stay with us. :(

Edit - and don't forget to NEVER TT a day backward thinking to gain time. The game will take it as one day FORWARD if you do. It's weird that you can TT back months or years and it only counts as one day forward but if you skip forward days or months it will play out as that.

I guess the mechanics would be too difficult to handle, flowers and so on.

Just keep TTing back in the same day just never touch before 6am on that day (if that makes sense) and don't let it go to 6am the next day either! C:

Thank you guys so much for your replies - totally helped me out! :D

I'm holding a villager for someone and I was afraid that I might lose them if I TT'd at all since accidents can happen, but you've both totally answered my questions here. ^^
