I'm a day ahead and one of my plots just sold to Biskit, I'm curious if I set the clock back to the normal time and date he won't be affected? His exterior will be fine?

I usually just TT ahead until they are fully moved in before I go back but its sometimes inconvenient lol

TTing backwards, or TT-ing more than a day forward, can (will?) cause the house exterior glitch. I would definitely wait, or only go forward by a day.

Even when it's just the sold plot? He's not moved in boxes yet?
I guess I'll just TT ahead like usual to be safe. Ty!

I think it can happen at any point of the moving process. The FAQ from the ACNH Discord says:

When you have a villager in the move-in process, please do not TT forward more than a single day. Do not TT back whatsoever. If you fail to adhere to these instructions, you risk causing the exterior of the previous plot to remain in place of the new villager’s exterior.
