So, yah, even though I TT all the time I actually have a question about it 😅 I keep seeing people saying they TT to move villagers out... do they mean they do it just to the next day to see them gone? Because it seems there's more to it? My guess is, they TT forward just enough to get a villager to have that moving out thought bubble, then if it's not the villager they want out, they go back and try again... is that right? If so, does anyone know how many days you need to TT forward? And, let's say it's four days, for example... If I start today, on the 5th, and TT to the 9th only to have the wrong villager want to move... if I TT back to the 5th, then forward again to the 9th, will a different villager consider moving now?

Or am I just totally off-base in how I think this works? That's definitely always a possibility 😝

As of right now, despite TTing to the point where I play through a few days in one RL day, it's been taking FOREVER to get a villager to move out and it's driving me nuts. I want some new faces!

I usually tt 15 days forward to get a bubble, if I get the wrong villager I tt another 15 days since I forgot what the better way to do it was

It rolls for a new village each day. There's a chance it might pick the same villager. It'll never pick the last villager that moved in.

Ah, okay. I'm hoping someone else can say if it would work to TT forward, then back, since I don't like to leave my town that many days 😅

I know, but my question is, how many days is the minimum I need to go forward? And if I can TT back, then forward again, to see another thought bubble.

I think maybe if you time travel 15 days, then 1 day forward at a time it should switch to a new villager (if you don't like who has the thought bubble, don't talk to them.) I suppose you could go 15 days, then back to real time and do just +1 from there, since time traveling backwards doesn't reset the days that have already passed.

Oh! So, if you ignore the thought bubble, someone else will get one the next day? And there's no risk of the one who originally had the thought bubble leaving? I've been talking them out of going because I thought I needed to, but that'd be a lot easier!

Yea, if you don't talk to them they won't move. You have to give permission. :)

Oh, man, that's awesome. I'm so used to previous games where you were pretty much always living in fear of losing your favorite villagers 😰
That should also making getting someone to move out easier! Thanks ☺
