Question about Time traveling

Do u think that if I travelled in to the future by the max amount of years
My town would be covered with over 5000 weeds?
I need the gold weed badge
And I have two towns
My Main
And cycle
I would Tine travel with my cycle town

You can try. Your town will be full of weeds, but I don't know if it'll be a lot.

I once time traveled a year ahead in a single jump and my town didn't change at all. There wasn't even a villager moving out, I just had fresh grass and bad bedhead. I'd suggest time traveling in spurts to get to the max amount instead taking a huge leap. And also make sure you have the ground space for those weeds...5000 is a lot.

I tried time travelling up 10 years in my cycling town for weeds, but there was not that many. I did 1 year >1 year > 1 year and it produces more weeds this way.

My guess is bc you actually load into the game, save and quit and TT another year again. Though, this is just my own experience o-o. eventually, you get the whole town covered (about 3.5k - 4k weeds, clovers don't count)
