Question about the 16 villager cycle and campsite

So say I have a villager move out, and go through the 16 villager cycle and decide I want them back; does anyone know if it would be possible to find them in the campsite again if that's where I got them the first time?

I've done tons of camp site resetting and noticed I've never come across any former villagers from my town that I should technically be able to have in my town again because I've since cycled through at least 16 villagers.

I realize that obviously it could just be a coincidence since there are after all hundreds of villagers so the odds are pretty low, but I'd love to have concrete evidence of whether you can really find them again at the campsite. Thanks in advance.

Yes of course you can find them again after completing the cycle, there is the random chance of them coming to your campsite. But there are more than 300 villagers, so you need plenty of luck.
