Question about Switch

Sorry for the slightly off-topic question, but I haven't bought a Switch yet, as I'm waiting to see if we get a AC themed one!
I've just seen that the goose game is on sale on the eshop this week and was wondering, if I buy that now without owning a Switch yet, will it be okay to play when I buy a Switch in March for AC?

I'm pretty sure you can, I don't know about buying it online since I've neer done that but you should get a download code for it.

Yes. You can buy it from the Nintendo website although I don’t know if the payment will go through if you don’t already have a Nintendo Switch linked to your Nintendo account.
