Celeste is in my island tonight and gave me the recipe for the star wand. However, I wasn't paying attention to Nook's morning announcement so I don't know if there is a meteor shower scheduled for tonight. Does anyone know if Celeste shows up on days where the meteor shower isn't scheduled?

And to those who have wished on falling stars: how often do they pop up in the sky?

I recall someone mentioning you get one whenever she is in your town the same night. As for how frequent they fall, it appears to be random. Could get 10 in a few minutes, or like 200 in two hours.

been watching the sky for about 30 minutes and nothing has popped up so far

i'm wondering if she showed up without a meteor shower because ive been out here for a long time and havent seen a single falling star

They make a sound! You might have missed a couple though, they can go longs stretches in between!
