Question about moving villagers out

what i do most of the time:
-wait till someone wants to move out and i say no
-time travel 3 days and load game
-time travel 1 day: wait till someone pings me again
and so on and so on haha

The fastest way is to TT until they ping you about leaving. It's random which villager will want to move out, though. There is nothing you can do to influence which villager decides to move out.

What I tend to do is talk to all the villagers I want to stay, and just ignore the ones I want to move out. Then I TT 2 days forward, talk to the villagers I want to keep again then TT back 2 days- a lot of the time this doesnt work but when I TT 2 days forward again (after ive spoken to those wanted villagers) a villager tends to ping me to move- the only time ive ever had a wanted villager ping me to move out is when ive just been playing and ive TT 1 day for an event or whatever but its ok because I will always tell them not to go and they will stay

Uh that doesnt work for some people lol just saying xD sometimes no one pings and u lose a dream villager!
I do tt 4 days forward and see if anyone pings. U have 4 days to see if anyone pings so just ask ur villagers o go in front of them! This is the fastest and most likely to work method ;)

The 4 days forward and back method is the fastest and I have never lost a dreamie this way (I did lose beau the other week but I went 6 days instead of 4 while I wasn't concentrating).
I don't know if anybody else has found the same but if you land on a day where a villager has been chosen to move (5 days in advance, as opposed to 4, 3 etc.) the moving villager will always be outside?
This has saved me a lot of time in quitting and loading up again to see if anybody is moving. I kind of rely on them being outside now and I'm still not sure if it's a good way of doing things.

Like I said on another thread, the quickest way that i've found to move villagers out is to befriend them. This means spamming their dialogue, doing favours for them and being nice to them in general. It also helps if when they offer you things or want something of yours (that isn't unorderable ofc) you buy it or let them have it. It's not always the most effective method, but usually the game wants to move out villagers that you're good friends with. But then again, the moving out process can be pretty random, so it won't always be somebody who you want to move out. There's no real 100% effective method in my eyes, but it can help. You can also try ignoring them, however that only really worked for me in wild world. Being mean to them isn't effective, and won't make them move sooner. Hopefully this works for you. Good luck!
